October blog project - Day 14

Day 14: a non-fictional book that is meaningful to you since your loss.

My Heart vs. The Real World: Children with Heart Disease, In Photographs and Interviews by Max S. Gerber

While technically this book was more meaningful to me before my loss, it was extremely meaningful to me while trying to cope with the idea of having a child with heart defects.

It is a book filled with pictures and the stories of children with various heart defects, of various ages, written by a young adult CHD survivor himself.
